Apple and Google have launched a tracking system for people with COVID-19

Apple and Google have released a joint API to notify people about possible contact with coronavirus infections.

Any country can embed this API into its Coronavirus tracking application. Currently, three states in the United States want to use the technology: Alabama, South Carolina, and North Dakota.

Also, about 20 countries are interested in Apple and Google APIs. Which ones are not specified.

API is already built into iOS 13.5. When Android smartphones get it, it depends on the manufacturers.
