Donald Trump thought it unnecessary to involve the military to suppress the protests

President Donald Trump believes that it will not be necessary to involve the military to suppress protests in the country.

“I don`t think we`ll have to do this,” Trump answered in an interview with Newsmax TV as to whether the military should be sent to American cities to restore law and order.

In the U.S., after the death of African-American police officer George Floyd in Minneapolis, there are mass demonstrations. In several cities, these protests have resulted in riots, vandalism, arson and shoplifting, and violent clashes with law enforcement forces. There have been victims and numerous casualties on both sides. In a significant number of states, the governors imposed curfews and National Guard units were involved in counteracting the demonstrators.
