Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter was hospitalized after a botched fall at his home in Plains, Georgia, CBS reported.
In a statement, the Carter Center said the former president suffered a “minor pelvic fracture” but remains in good spirits and is looking forward to rebuilding the home.
According to media reports, Jimmy had already fallen in his home earlier this month. As a result, the 95-year-old politician got off with 14 stitches and bruises around his left eye.
At the same time, Carter demonstrated remarkable willpower. He did not miss a previously planned public event in Nashville, Tennessee, where he arrived accompanied by doctors and a cane.
