Helicopter crashes on top of building in Manhattan on June 10, 2019
The helicopter made a hard landing on Seventh Avenue in Manhattan, the New York Fire Department said Monday.
“New York City Fire Department officers are on site at 787 Seventh Avenue. Hard landing of the helicopter,” the agency said on Twitter.

NBC reports that the helicopter crashed into the roof of a 54-story office building.
The building, known as the AXA Equitable Center, has tenants including BNP Paribas, Citibank and international law firm Willkie Farr & Gallagher. Workers at the building quicklly evacuated.
Fire trucks and police vehicle swarmed outside the building. The fire on the roof was extinguished as of about 20 minutes after the crash.
Gov. Andrew Cuomo spoke to reporters at the scene.
