Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has rejected the possibility of talks with the United States.

The statement notes that all the leadership of Iran is convinced that under maximum pressure from Washington the country should not negotiate at any level. According to the Ayatollah, agreeing to hold them will prove the success of American policy.
Earlier, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani called the attack of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) on oil facilities in Saudi Arabia “self-defense of the people of Yemen.”
On the night of September 14, a fire broke out in the territory of Saudi Aramco, Saudi Arabia’s national oil company. The fire was preceded by an explosion caused by an attack by drones.
U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo believes Iran is behind the incident. He called on the international community to condemn the actions of the Iranian side and to do everything to bring the country to justice.
