Police in Springfield, Missouri, detained a man who came to a Walmart supermarket with a rifle and a hundred rounds of ammunition, Springfield News-Leader reported.
The young man came to the store in protective clothing and body armor. The suspect was carrying a tactical rifle and another weapon.
When he entered the supermarket, panic broke out among the shop’s visitors. All the things the guy filmed on the camera of his smartphone.
The suspect was already detained on the street by a fire officer, who was not on duty at the time. The man held the young man until police arrived.
At the moment, law enforcement officers intend to establish all the circumstances of the incident, as well as to find out the motives and intentions of the detainee.
Earlier, a mass shooting at a Walmart store in El Paso killed 22 people and injured 26. On the night of August 4, a shooting in Ohio also killed ten people, including the shooter, and wounded 32 others.
