NASA warns: potentially dangerous asteroid approaching the Earth June 6, 2020

Experts call an asteroid potentially dangerous if it crosses the orbit of Earth.

NASA experts warned that the asteroid 163348 (2002 NN4) is approaching Earth. According to experts, the diameter of the celestial body may vary from 250 to 570 meters.

According to reports, the asteroid at the end of this week, Saturday, June 6, will pass from Earth at a minimum distance. Specialists have calculated the time in which it will happen.

According to experts, the asteroid will not pose a threat to Earth, because it will pass from it 13 times further than the moon. However, in NASA, the asteroid is still considered potentially dangerous, because it crosses the orbit of the Earth.

Earlier it was reported that on April 29, the asteroid 1998 OR2 will approach the Earth at a minimum distance. It also carried no threat to the planet, because it has traveled from Earth at a distance of about 6 million kilometers, which is 16 times greater than the distance to the moon.
