President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, head of the United States State Department Mike Pompeo, and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov held a meeting in Sochi.
The conversation lasted an hour and a half and took place in the fireplace Hall of the Bocharov Creek.
The director of the External intelligence service Sergey Naryshkin and the assistant of the President for International affairs Yuri Ushakov also took part in the negotiations.
Putin and Pompey discussed the possibility of contacts between Russian and US leaders at the G20 summit to be held in Japan in June this year, Ushakov said. Now Moscow expects concrete proposals from Washington.
“We are ready for any contact, we can” on our feet “to talk to President Trump, we can sit down for a more detailed discussion, it all depends on how our American partners will be tuned,” Putin’s aide said.
