Several bags of human remains were found on a beach in Seattle, Washington

Several bags of human remains were found on a beach in the American city of Seattle, Washington. This was reported by CNN on Saturday, June 20, citing the local police department.

On the evening of June 19, the police received a call about the discovery of a suspicious bag on the beach in the western part of the city, which emitted a bad smell. The law enforcement officers who arrived on the call found another bag in the water. Inside were remains of human bodies.

An investigation is currently underway into the matter. The identity of the remains is yet to be determined by the medical examiner. How exactly the bags got to the place where they were found is also unclear: the version that they may have been brought to the beach by the current is under consideration.

Earlier in June, it was reported that a resident of the American city of Jupiter, Florida, killed his wife and tried to explain her disappearance with a coronavirus infection. The man sent messages to her friends from the dead wife’s phone saying she had been infected with coronavirus and was allegedly being held at the center for disease control and prevention.
