Trump commented protests in France

The American leader criticized the Parisian agreement on climate, having said that it raises the prices of energy for the responsible countries.

The U.S. President Donald Trump commented on the disorders which happened in France because of increase in prices for fuel. About it the American leader wrote to Twitter.

“I am glad that my friend Emmanuel Macron and protesters in Paris agreed with a conclusion to which I came two years ago. The Parisian agreement is exclusively wrong because it raises the prices of energy for the responsible countries and at the same time rehabilitates some of the worst pollutants in the world”, – Trump said.

The politician also noted that on the president’s post he “achieved improvement of the environment in the USA, and does not wish to shift to Americans expenses on cleaning of pollution in other countries”.

Let’s remind, in 2017 the USA left the Parisian agreement on climate. It was signed in 2015 and provides allocation of 100 billion dollars to developing countries for the solution of climatic problems. The agreement succeeded the Kyoto Protocol which was adopted in 1997.

Several weeks passed mass protests of “yellow vests” in France – the largest disorders for the last ten years. Participants of protests demanded reduction of prices of fuel. As a result of the power of France postponed for six months increase in collecting on gasoline and diesel fuel.
