UEFA may cancel the Champions League Final in Russia in 2021

Champions League final game of the season 2020/2021, which is scheduled for St. Petersburg, may take place in Turkey.

Recall that Istanbul would have hosted this season’s Champions League final, but UEFA de facto decided to postpone the decisive game to another location due to the situation with the coronavirus in the country. Because of this, an option is being considered whereby Turkey may receive the right to host the final of the most prestigious European Cup in 2021 instead of Russia.

If UEFA makes such a decision, the further finals of the tournament will take place in the following order: 2022 – St Petersburg, 2023 – Munich, 2024 – London.
