American owners of iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max began massively complaining about a strange bug: the smartphone screen blurs for no apparent reason and turns green after unlocking. The problem was widely discussed in the Reddit and MacRumors forums. The total number of cases has already gone down by dozens.
According to feedback from users encountering the problem, the screen is green for only a few seconds, but this is very noticeable. Most of the bug is seen at night when the interface is dark and Night Shift is turned on. However, someone simply has the lowest possible backlighting level. It is not possible to reproduce the bug yourself.
One MacRumors reader described the situation:
About 25 percent of the time I unlock my iPhone 11 Pro the screen looks completely blurry with a predominant green tint. After about 3 seconds, it goes back to normal. Has anyone ever experienced this or knows if there is a problem with the iPhone 11? I should probably do a factory reset, but I would like to avoid that if possible.
The bug is supposed to be software in nature since many people have been green since they upgraded to iOS 13.4.1, iOS 13.5, and released iOS 13.5.1 this week. The bug is expected to be in the nearest new version of the operating system, iOS 13.5.5. It is currently in public testing.
