Donald Trump “Not Guilty” on both articles of impeachment. This decision is not subject to appeal.
US Senate acquitted President Donald Trump of the first and second articles of impeachment. To find the head of state guilty of abuse of power, senators needed to get at least two-thirds of the votes (67 seats). However, this did not happen during the vote on the results of the trial in the upper house.
Thus, attempts by Democrats in Congress to remove the 45th President of the United States from power were expected to fail. The decision of the Senate is not subject to appeal.
